Hobbs
Device generates a unique hard-core, metal blend incomparable to any
other bands in this genre of music. Four energetic and talented individuals
form Hobbs Device: Todd (Vocals), Chuck (Guitar/Vocals), Jeff (Drums)
and Mark (Bass). Their passion for music is exemplified in their heavy
guitar riffs, low-down bass lines and straightforward drum beats. Each
band member is skilled with his instrument and has previous experience
with other bands. Their creative process and product is influenced by
many genres of music including hard-core, metal, and punk. They have
performed at several Detroit venues including The Emerald Theater, The
Hayloft Liquor Stand, Alvin’s, I-ROCK, The Token Lounge and many
more. They have established connections with other local bands including
MFPS, Red Eye Flight, and LAST just to name a few. Hobbs Device is currently
recording their first studio-production LP.
